Walk in Women's Shoes

Laura Shannon has been researching women’s traditional circle dances of the Balkans for over thirty years and teaches them in seminars all over the world. She sees the dances as a group meditative practice containing hidden wisdom passed down from ancient times, deeply relevant for women today. After a severe accident two years ago I had to learn how to walk again. My shoes are a sign of hope and achievement. I bought them for a journey in the desert and I am proud that I managed to fulfill my dream even though it was quite hard physically. The purple color reminds me always to walk in the ways of wisdom.
